Cosini SS7 Gateways

Cosini SS7 gateways are bridges between the new VoIP carriers and old telephone network. Their task is to perform interworking between the VoIP protocols (such as SIP, H.323, IAX) and SS7 common channel signalling.

The Cosini SS7 gateways can be deployed as combined Signalling and Trunk Gateways and  can be deployed in both fixed (PSTN/ISDN) and mobile (PLMN) networks.

Cosini has employed open standards and Asterisk and Callweaver as open source platform in order to ensure that the product is future proof and expandable. 

Flexible

The Cosini solution supports full integration with Asterisk and Callweaver and interworking with H.323, SIP, IAX, MGCP and TDM applications. It is user programmable from Asterisk and Callweaver Dialplan also with respect to SS7 features and applications. This makes it to the world’s most flexible SS7 gateway available today.

Compatibility

The Cosini SS7 solution is compatible with zaptel compliant E1/T1-cards such as Digium®
